Besides
the type of filler product that is used, several other factors influence the
longevity of fillers.

 This includes:

  • where
the filler is used on your face
  • how
    much is injected
  • the
speed at which your body metabolizes the filler material

During
the first few months after being injected, fillers will begin to slowly
degrade. But the visible results remain the same because fillers have the
ability to absorb water.

However,
around the midpoint of the expected duration of the filler, you will start to
notice decreased volume.

Doing
a touch-up filler treatment at this point can be extremely beneficial since it
can sustain your results much longer.

Q.  Will I Bruise and swell ?

A.  Yes, you may bruise and swell!  It is ok to bruise and swell!!! To aid in the healing process and to reduce
the possibility of getting a bruise, ice ice ice the day of the
procedure!!  Sleeping propped up at
night, refraining from physical exertion and “taking it easy” a for a few days
will help you heal properly!

Q.  Does it hurt?

A.  It is not a massage!  LOL!! 😊 It may hurt a little bit when the injection happens, but it is minimal,
and the pain level is very low.  Taking a
Tylenol an hour or two before your injection will help.
